Lynn Harrison BA (Hons) Psych DHyp MIAH

Lynn is a Consultant Hypnotherapist and Analyst providing confidential services from the Pim Clinic in Reading. A psychology graduate, Lynn studied hypnotherapy and psychotherapy with the Hypnotherapy Control Board, Europe’s largest hypnotherapy training school. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis, and is listed in the Hypnotherapist Register.

Lynn is a full practising member of The International Association of Hypno-Analysts (IAH), which is dedicated to the professional and ethical use of Hypnosis for the treatment of nervous disorders and emotional problems.

The IAH is based in Cambridge and was established in 1981 as a non-profit making organisation to promote the ethical use of hypnotherapy, particularly within hypno-analysis.

Members are bound by a code of practice and ethics of the highest order, have satisfied an Examination board of their knowledge and level of competence and have undertaken to abide by the Rules of the Association. IAH members have also agreed to discharge each and every client from treatment at the earliest possible moment consistent with that client's good care.

Confidentiality and Privacy:

All sessions, including any free consultations, are conducted with absolute confidentiality in mind. This confidentiality serves to aid a strong bond of trust and rapport, which are crucial aspects of any therapy.

Background checks:

All members of the IAH undergo thorough background checks before being allowed to join. This is in line with the checks for all mental health professionals including the UK Protection of Children Act 1999 List (PoCAL) for individuals working with children and other vulnerable groups.
