Hypnosis is used to deal with many types of symptoms, including social anxiety, depression, insomnia, stress, nervous problems, fears and phobias, bad habits and relationship difficulties (including sexual problems), pain control in childbirth and problems with conception. There are two main types of therapy:

Suggestion Therapy

 

Analytical Therapy

Certain problems (such as driving test nerves, smoking, nail-biting, relaxation, stress management, weight control and confidence-boosting) can be helped by one or more sessions of clinical hypnotherapy. Lynn will help you to reprogramme your unconscious mind by the use of carefully-worded suggestions and visualisations.

Childhood problems (such as bed-wetting and thumb-sucking) also respond well to suggestion therapy.

 

Many problems (such as phobias, social anxiety, panic attacks, comfort eating and depression) have a more deep-rooted cause.

Analytical therapy is a course of treatment which helps to find and release the bottled up emotions which are the cause of your problem, in order to get rid of your symptoms for good.

Eight to ten weekly sessions are usually needed to complete a course of Analysis.
